Empower, Encourage, Inspire…

Jessica’s passion for women’s health began early. At the age of 20 she started her career as a labor & delivery women’s health nurse. Several years and 3 children later Jessica put her attention at home and on raising her family. After her 4th child was old enough to start school she once again put her focus back into women’s wellness.

Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach

Her return to the health field came at the same time as a devastating diagnosis. After years of issues and misdiagnoses, in 2012 Jessica discovered she had Lupus. This difficult to diagnosis disease has a variety of symptoms that can mimic other types of issues, and can be further complicated by the foods we eat. Jessica began researching holistic ways to help her body heal. She hired a health coach that taught her the importance of using food as medicine. By 2014 she was off all medication and by 2016 she was in full remission.

Jessica learned first hand the power of nutrition had on overall health. In 2016 she enrolled in the National Academy of Sports Medicine and passed national exams to become a Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. This knowledge, along with being a nurse, has helped her have a greater understanding of how exercise, proper nutrition, and positive lifestyle changes can improve the quality of our lives significantly.

Jessica now owns a healthcare management company where she also works as a wellness nurse and nutrition coach. She also understands that success starts by making wellness accessible for women of every lifestyle.

“My approach to nutrition lies somewhere between eating to live and life’s short, eat dessert first! Fueling your body with nutritious foods most of the time will keep you functioning at your highest level. However, it’s okay to indulge on occasion. My nutrition plan will help you find a personalized plan that works for you and your life by providing you with delicious recipes, a shopping list, tips for making lifestyle changes, and support along the way.”
